Three sets of metadata from three different digital libraries were aggregated and re-indexed. Automatic analysis was performed to assign one or more DDC classes to each individual metadata record. A comprehensive search and exploratory interface was designed and implemented to include dashboard views, localized views, and universe views of DDC and the metadata collections. Finally, an experiment was conducted to test and compare how subjects interacted with different views for metadata search, exploratory and resource discovery.
